PROJECTS
Hospital Purchase of Equipment Program
The purpose of this program is to obtain equipment to be used in direct care of patients fighting cancer. We have and/or are now supporting the following facilities: Henry Heywood Oncology Clinic in Gardner, MA, Bayonne Hospital in Bayonne, NJ, Simon Sinon Cancer Clinic in Fitchburg, MA and Athol Hospital Oncology Clinic.
Community Outreach Program
We received support in many special ways as we supported Jenn. We want to support others in such a situation, and so an occasional grant is given to a family in need of support.
Melanoma Research: Beth Israel Hospital Boston
We need to fight all forms of cancer and support institutions like the one that helped Jenn. Melanoma Education is a vital part of preventing this potentially tragic disease. We support this by donating to skincheck.org
Scholarship
Jenn received a wonderful education at Fitchburg High School. Her success in her advanced schooling is directly connected to the quality of education she received in the City of Fitchburg’s Public School system. Helping others through Physical Therapy gave her great joy. We offer a yearly scholarship to a Fitchburg High School graduating senior who intends to pursue a career in medicine.
SCHOLARSHIP
Fitchburg High School Scholarship
Jenn loved to learn and wanted to help others. This scholarship is for a graduating senior pursuing a career in a medical field. The amount of the grant for the first nine years had been $500. It has now been increased to $1,000. Application forms can be obtained at Fitchburg High School’s guidance department.
UPDATE: BEGINNING IN 2018, THE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD WILL BE GRANTED TO 2 INDIVIDUALS, AT AN AMOUNT OF $1500 PER RECIPIENT.
NORTH MIDDLESEX WAS ALSO ADDED AS A LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL ELIGIBLE FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP.
